Everyone remembers a different piece. Kinrel keeps the pieces together.
Kinrel is a private family archive for heirlooms, keepsakes and antiques: the things that carry a family history. Photograph an object, record who it came from and what each relative remembers, then share that history with family through Family Relay. No shared account, and nothing is overwritten.
FAMILY RELAY
• Send selected objects, people and stories to a relative as one package.
• Preview every change before anything is saved.
• New details merge safely. Real disagreements wait for you, side by side.
• Undo the last import if you change your mind.
• Protect any package with a password.
• Try it right away with a built-in sample.
EVERY MEMORY KEEPS ITS SOURCE
• Save each memory with who told it, when and how sure they were.
• Dates can be exact or approximate, like "around 1960".
• When memories conflict, both are kept. Kinrel never picks a winner.
• Attach letters, receipts, maker's marks and appraisals as provenance.
PHOTOGRAPH FIRST, STORY LATER
• One photo is a complete record. Add the name, people and story when you have them.
• Batch capture: photograph a whole shelf in one go.
• Record a relative telling the story in their own voice. The original audio is kept.
• Keep photos, people, values, documents, condition and history together for each object.
• Touch and hold the Kinrel icon to capture an object, scan a label or open Family Relay.
PASS IT ON, PRIVATELY
• When an object moves to someone else, choose what goes with it and what stays private.
• Locations, private notes and insurance papers stay private unless you include them.
• Note who you would like to receive an object someday. This records family intent; it is not a will or legal document.
