REMRA: Yearly Memory Journal

HusoftTech

About this app

Remember the year before you sum it up.

REMRA is a private annual memory archive. Save small moments while they are fresh: a few words, a photo, a voice recording, a link. On the date you choose each year, REMRA brings them back beside a set of reflection questions, so your answers grow from what actually happened, not just what you happen to recall.

No daily journal. No streaks. No guilt for skipped years.

CAPTURE A MOMENT IN SECONDS
• Save text, photos, files, links and voice recordings as Memory Seeds
• Take a photo straight from the capture screen
• Add a date, tags, people and a place name, or leave them for later
• Share text, a link or up to five photos to REMRA from any app
• Long-press the REMRA icon to capture a memory or open your annual reflection

REFLECT ONCE A YEAR
• 28 questions in chapters such as The Year, People, Work, Home, Change and Meaning
• Memories from that year appear beside each question; mark the ones you used, and the link is kept
• Answer with words, a scale, a photo, a voice recording or a date
• Blind mode keeps last year's answer hidden until you have written this year's
• Answers save as you go, so you can return over days or weeks
• Missed a year? Fill it in later. It is clearly marked as written later
• A gentle yearly reminder before your annual date

SEE HOW LIFE CHANGES
• Follow one question across every year on a timeline
• Put two years side by side
• Compare answers between people
• Search everything and filter by favorites, private or archived items

FOR YOU AND THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE
• Keep a separate annual archive for yourself, a partner or a child, each with its own annual date
• Hand one person's archive over as a file, with private items left out
• Write your own questions, reorder them, or retire the ones that no longer fit

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no tracking
• REMRA does not use the internet at all: your archive stays on this device
• Lock REMRA with your fingerprint, face or screen lock; your archive is covered whenever you leave the app
• Yearly reminders use gentle, generic wording that reveals nothing private

YOURS TO KEEP
• Export a .remra archive at any time to your phone's storage, Google Drive or another place you trust
• Every attachment is checked against its fingerprint when you import
• Importing shows what will change and keeps a recovery copy first
• Export your written records as CSV, or create a simple year-by-year PDF of your answers

Open the fictional sample archive to see several years at a glance, then begin your own.
