Turn every screen-on into a Korean lesson. Lockademy shows you a Korean word every time you turn on your phone—read it, look it up, swipe to the next one. No app to open, no time to carve out: The moments you already spend unlocking your phone become dozens of mini-lessons a day.

The sole purpose of this app is to help you learn Korean on your lock screen. Everything else—the word browser, statistics, quizzes, and settings—exists solely to set up and track this lock-screen learning experience.

• Curious to learn more? Tap Ask AI to explore the word via Google Search — nuances, cultural context, and related expressions

• Unlock as usual. The card never blocks your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint

CAN'T READ HANGUL YET? START FROM ZERO
Can't read Korean yet? The built-in Hangul course teaches you the alphabet itself: every vowel and consonant with mnemonics, syllable building step by step (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), batch final consonants, and the real pronunciation rules — 합니다 is pronounced "hamnida," and the cards show you why. Select "I can't read Hangul yet" when you first open the app, and it starts right there.

SMART REPETITION THAT NEVER FORGETS

The Leitner Method brings back each word just before you're about to forget it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. Words you know move back; words you miss come back sooner. Your streak and progress statistics keep you motivated.

QUIZ MODE
Turn the card to Quiz and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and a Quiz accuracy statistic to help you beat your score. In the Korean course, the Quiz trains letters: assembling syllables from their parts and matching each letter to its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Vocabulary curated from the National Institute of Korean Language's learner word list and the public TOPIK guidelines, covering every level from beginner to advanced (TOPIK 1–6). Each word comes with its transliteration, part of speech, a natural example sentence, and synonyms/antonyms. Browse the full word list, search, and bookmark words for later reference.
