Turn every screen time into a Korean lesson. Lockademy displays a Korean word every time you turn on your phone—read it, remember it, swipe. No apps to open, no time to set aside: the moments you already spend unlocking your phone become dozens of micro-lessons a day.

This app's sole purpose is to teach you Korean on your lock screen. Everything else—the word browser, stats, quizzes, and settings—exists only to set up and track this lock-screen study experience.

• Turn on your screen—a Korean word card appears
• Tap to reveal the meaning, example sentence, synonyms, and antonyms
• Mark "I know" or "Review later"—smart repetition takes care of the rest
• Want to learn more? Tap Ask AI to explore the word in a Google search — nuance, cultural context, and related phrases
• Unlock as usual. The card never locks your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint

CAN'T READ HANGUL? START FROM SCRATCH
Can't read Korean yet? The built-in 한글 course teaches the alphabet: each vowel and consonant with a mnemonic, step-by-step syllable construction (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), batchim endings, and the real pronunciation rules — 합니다 is pronounced "hamnida," and the cards show why. Choose "I can't read Hangul yet" on first launch, and you'll get started right away.

SMART REVIEW THAT NEVER FORGETS
Leitner's spaced repetition brings each word back just before you forget it: 1 h → 1 d → 3 d → 7 d → 30 d. Words you know fall behind; missed words come back faster. Your streak and progress stats keep you motivated.

QUIZ MODE
Switch the card to Quiz Mode and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and an accuracy stat to beat. In the Korean course, the quiz trains the letters: combine syllables and match each letter with its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Vocabulary selected from the National Institute of the Korean Language's learner word list and TOPIK public guidelines, covering all levels from beginner to advanced (TOPIK 1–6). Each word is accompanied by its romanization, grammatical category, a natural example sentence, and its synonyms/antonyms. Browse the complete list, search for, and add words to your favorites to review them later.
