Turn every screen unlock into a Korean lesson. Lockademy displays a Korean word every time you unlock your phone — read it, recall it, then swipe past. No app opening required, no separate time needed: the moments you would normally spend unlocking your phone become dozens of mini-lessons every day.

The sole purpose of this app is to learn Korean on your lock screen. Everything else — vocabulary browser, statistics, quizzes, and settings — exists only to set up and track that lock screen learning experience.

HOW IT WORKS
• Turn on the screen — a Korean word card appears
• Tap to show meaning, example sentences, synonyms, and antonyms
• Choose "I already know" or "Repeat" — smart repetition does the rest
• Want to learn more? Tap Ask AI to explore the word on Google — nuances, cultural context, and related expressions
• Unlock as usual. The card will never block your PIN, pattern, or fingerprint.

CAN'T READ HANGUL? START FROM SCRATCH
Can't read Korean? The integrated 한글 course will teach you the alphabet itself: each vowel and consonant has memorization tips, step-by-step syllable blending (ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ = 한), final consonants (batchim), and practical pronunciation rules — 합니다 is pronounced "hamnida", and the cards will show you why. Select "I can't read Hangul" when you first open the app and you'll start right there.

SMART REVIEW - NEVER FORGET
Leitner's spaced repetition brings each word back to you just before you're about to forget it: 1 hour → 1 day → 3 days → 7 days → 30 days. Words you've memorized move back; words you've forgotten come back earlier. The learning schedule and progress statistics keep you motivated.

QUIZ MODE
Flip a card to Quiz and choose the correct meaning from four options. Instant feedback, hints, and accuracy indicators help you surpass yourself. In the Korean course, the quiz section focuses on letter practice instead: combining parts into syllables and matching each letter to its sound.

20,000 TOPIK WORDS
Vocabulary is selected from the Korean Language Institute's learner vocabulary list and publicly available TOPIK guides, covering all levels from beginner to advanced (TOPIK 1–6). Each word includes its Latin pronunciation, part of speech, a natural example sentence, and synonyms/antonyms. Browse the entire list, search, and bookmark favorites for later review.

• Word level: Hangul alphabet foundation, beginner, intermediate, or all
• Display frequency: every time you turn on the screen, every hour, every 3 hours
• Daily word limit makes revision manageable — and allows you to reach the limit of never-ending study sessions
• Quiet hours — no cards at night
• Alarm-safe: cards won't appear when your alarm is ringing or about to ring
• Swipe up from the bottom edge to hide cards, enabling system gestures like Samsung Wallet
• Two reminders per day, automatically skip when you've studied
• Card font size, enable/disable phonetic transcription, always-show meaning option
