I've purchased and owned 2 physical Construction Master calculators over the years and love both of them. So I thought having the same thing as an app on my phone would be similarly great. That is, until I hit the subscription requirement. It's a calculator, not a service or revenue extraction scheme. No thank you. SaaS has ruined another great product.

my review is more about price than the product. why should I pay for a year to use the app if I can buy the same calculator for basically the same price and have it for much longer paying once? if you offer me to buy the app and pay just once, I would not give this review. It just doesn't make sense. this is not a product that is going to change year after year to justify a subscription model.

I like the app, but!!!! I find the app appealing, however, I am terminating my trial subscription. I would be comfortable with a one-time fee for the subscription, but not an annual renewal fee. I possess the physical construction master pro calculator. I find the convenience of its availability on the phone to be appealing, especially in the event I do not have access to a physical calculator.
