* **Character-based phonetic notation:** You can click on a character and move the cursor to insert a supplementary phonetic notation to narrow down the input range without deleting and re-entering.
* **For example, if you want to input "不要" (don't want) but accidentally type "ㄅㄧ", long-pressing will split it into "ㄅ" and "ㄧ".
* **For example, if you want to input "中华电信" (Chunghwa Telecom) but accidentally select "中" first, then type "ㄏ", it will display characters starting with "ㄏ", but won't find "中ㄏ". To find "中ㄏ", click the blue cursor in the phonetic input area.
* **Quickly select long words:** For example, after typing "天下" (all under heaven), you can select "没有白吃的碌碌" (nothing is a free lunch), "无不散的筵席" (no banquet lasts forever), etc., all at once.
* **Manually add words (Chinese/English) instantly, avoiding repeatedly typing the same words.
* **Cangjie, Xinglie, Dayi, etc., can be added as buttons to the toolbar. A single click switches to phonetic notation lookup/character/code splitting; another click returns to the original input method, making it easy and fast.
** * The 41-key silent phonetic input method allows you to substitute phonetic symbols by sliding up or down. For example, if you accidentally type "license plate tax" as "ㄊㄓㄕ" instead of "ㄆㄓㄕ", click the "ㄊ" key in the editing area, move the cursor, and slide the "ㄆ" key up to replace "ㄊ". Then, click the "ㄕ" key to the end to select "license plate tax".
* The toolbar allows you to freely select the tools you need, such as emojis, voice input, user symbols, simplified Chinese output, numeric keypad, cursor clipboard, full/half shapes, and recently used emojis. You can quickly select them directly. The order is arbitrary.

Compared to the method of selecting the first phonetic abbreviation in gcin (similar to New Zhuyin), the pre-selected words in gcin do not have the following disadvantages:
1. It does not support simultaneous input of initials and finals [ㄅ…][ㄧㄨㄩ][ㄚ…] or direct correction without deletion.
2. It's troublesome to insert and re-enter a word after inputting abbreviations only to find it's not in the dictionary.
3. It requires changing the normal Zhuyin input process.
- 41-key Zhuyin input without tones is also supported, as is phonetic abbreviations. For example, inputting ㄓㄏㄇ allows you to select Zhang Huimei/Republic of China/Main Screen. Deactivating this option is similar to the computer operation method above.
- Using only the Zhuyin (word-based) input method requires only 13MB, using minimal space.
- "Pronunciation" can be enabled, which helps reduce input errors.
- English input pre-selected words support words with blanks, automatic case selection, and automatic punctuation marks sent to the editing area. It can be set to use the English keyboard from the start. Spelling errors are listed with the closest candidate characters.
