Step down from previous years Same problem as Wimbledon app. Runs in background but not in list of most recent/ open apps so can't toggle between all my apps quickly to check scores. I'm getting push notifications for players I didn't fave and the graphics are really simple, boring, and ugly. And why can't we fave doubles specialists and get notifications for their matches? I guess the USTA blew the budget on the new roof.
Not intuitive at all, it's not clear who is winning matches at a glance. Why is the set winner yellow when there is no key to say who has won the set?? Unless you click on the match it's just guesswork. So shoddy it's unbelievable for an open tennis tournament, sort it out!
Schedule update delayed App is slow and the schedule doesn't update as quickly as the iPhone counterpart. For instance, it's Tuesday night, and I should be able to see Wednesday's schedule on the app, and I can't.
Terrible score format It's not impossible to work out what the score is, but it's certainly not obvious or intuitive, and that is the main job of the app. Really no need to reinvent the wheel here; revert to what you've done in the past
The Live score page is really poorly done. At first glance, I couldn't tell which player is winning... Why should we assume that the player on the left occupies the top row and the player on the right occupies the bottom row? Also, if the player on the right serves and wins a point, it shows 0-15. What?
Looks good but terrible scoreboard layout The app is quite slick looking but the scoreboard is rubbish as its hard to tell who is leading in the match with both players on either side of the screen and not listed below another. Better to just look at the US Open website for the scores than this.
