About this app

In close collaboration of Drug Dependency Treatment and Research Unit (DDTRU)/ Ministry of Health (MOH) with the technical assistance of ICAP at Columbia University in Myanmar, this application was developed based on the “Guidelines for the Methadone Maintenance Therapy (MMT) in Myanmar, Third Edition, 2019” and “Standard Operating Procedure Methadone Maintenance Therapy, Myanmar 2020”.
This mobile app serves dual purposes for different user categories: individuals with substance use disorders as general users and health-care workers (practitioners, prescribers, and dispensers) as pro-users. For general users, the app offers comprehensive information about methadone and location of methadone facilities across Myanmar. Furthermore, this app is also designed to assist health-care workers in facilities, providing harm reduction and drug treatment services to individuals with substance use disorders. By applying to access the pro-user privilege, health care workers can enhance their clinical practices gaining access to additional technical features.
