About this app

PAT Test Pro produces portable appliance testing certificates on your Android phone. Record every appliance, sign, and send the certificate before you leave the building.

Built by iCertifi for electricians and electrical contractors, and made to the IET Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, 5th Edition. The same certificate as PAT Test Pro on iPhone.

AI APPLIANCE SCANNING
Take a photo of an appliance and Appliance Vision identifies it, suggests its class and fuse, checks the lead and plug it can see, and suggests Pass or Fail. You check every answer, enter your tester's readings and make the final decision. Each scan uses one AI token; a scan that fails uses none. 20 free tokens to start, then token packs from Google Play.

LIMITS FROM THE CODE OF PRACTICE
Continuity is judged against 0.1 ohm plus the lead's own resistance, insulation against 1 megohm for Class I and 2 megohms for Class II, earth leakage against 5 mA, and RCDs against 40 ms. An appliance whose class is unknown is treated as Class I.

YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Certificates, signatures and photos are stored on your phone and in your own Google backup, not on our servers. A photo is sent to our AI service only when you scan with AI. No account and no sign in. Back up to a file and restore on another phone at any time.

SUBSCRIPTION
Create, fill in and preview certificates free. A subscription is needed to send, print and reopen saved certificates. Monthly or annual, through Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in the Play Store. AI tokens are bought separately and never expire.
