About this app

Wear OS only. Invented at Clemson University, the bite counter app tracks how your wrist moves during a meal to detect and count bites, the number of times you put food or beverage in your mouth.

The watch must be worn on your dominant hand or the one primarily used for eating. Prepare the food you are about to eat. Start the app just before taking your first bite. End the app after you take the last bite. Count your bites every meal. Use bites as an estimate of your portion size. Work to reduce your portion size and consistently measure your consumption.

This is app is for research and educational purposes only. This app is not meant to provide medical advice or treatment.
