Here are just a few of the things you can do with our app if you're searching for a property:

• Draw your preferred area directly on the map. Open the idealista map and draw with your finger the area where you'd like to live. All available listings will appear instantly, along with their prices, so you can compare them at a glance. It's that simple.

• Find properties available near your current location.

• Save your favourite homes and properties. And with our collaborative lists, you can share your favourites with friends and family. Everyone can add notes, suggest new favourites or remove the ones you're no longer interested in.

• Set up alerts and be the first to know. If you're looking for a room or a new home, you know how important it is to act quickly. Once you've saved a search, turn on instant alerts — that way, every time a new listing matches your criteria or a property drops in price, you'll get a notification straight to your phone.

• Chat directly with advertisers to ask questions or arrange a viewing.

• Create a tenant profile. Advertisers tend to prioritise tenants with a completed profile, giving you a better chance of landing the property you want.

Ratings and reviews

I wish it was easier to organize the homes that you save. It is so difficult to scroll through everything. I also wish you could name the searches right away. Often you have to go back in and tote them after you create them. Sometimes you want create one on the fly as you are browsing over the map. It just saves it as a random search.

Idealista has helped me find all of my homes in Spain. It has excellent search features and language options. Very easy to use. We began our search 6 years ago from the US and it helped us explore different regions to narrow our focus. The filters make it very easy. So far, we've found 3 perfect rentals, most recently, last week. We're excited about moving to a new area and into exactly what we were searching for. Highly recommend.

No post conforms to a standard; 90% of housing images are generated by 3D AI renderings, resulting in misleading publications and unrealistic expectations. This is a significant waste of time! You purchase what is presented, not what an additional 50K EUR could achieve.

With this update, you can now search in several areas at once. Are you interested in different neighbourhoods in your city? Or several municipalities at once? Now you can easily search in different areas at the same time using the same criteria. You no longer need to save multiple searches to search in different areas.
