No matter if you are an artist, a model builder or simply want to repaint your room, you will need to mix colors to get the result you wanted.
You probably have realized that the real world color mixing is often counter-intuitive and is completely different from the RGB model used in the computer world (and other color apps). One example is that mixing yellow and blue result in grey, contradictory to what most people imagined. And if you need orange, RGB based programs will suggest red and green but in the real world, you actually need red and yellow.
Color Mixer is here to help to solve the real world color mixing problems using its unique subtractive color model. It is able to simulate real-world color mixing and more importantly, it can resolve any color into a combination of mixing colors.
In the resolver mode, you select a color from the color dialog or pick from an image in your gallery or camera, and the app will give you the combination that mix into the selected color. Currently, the result only includes pure primary colors (red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow, white and black), future versions will expand this to a user-defined palette.
With a single switch, you can switch to the mixer mode, where you can manually adjust the portion of each of the colors in the mix, add extra colors and see the mix result in real time.
* Define your own colors to use in the resolver, so you can have more realistic mix results.
* Saving colors and mix recipe to your own color palette.
