Ratings and reviews

When you click a notification, it opens to the home page (not the chat window); When you open a chat, it starts at the beginning of the conversation and THEN scrolls to the bottom. For long conversations, this is super annoying; There's no native support for emojis (ala WhatsApp); There no support for media; Every time you want to find a chat partner, you have to wade through all the people you previously dismissed; There's no filters when you want to find a chat partner (except by region which makes NO sense at all); Many users don't properly set their known languages by 'want to learn' language, which is a UI/UX problem w/ the app. If I want to learn Spanish, the list of potential chat partners should be sorted by the language I want to learn (geography filter is not relevant for this app)

I cannot say if the app is good because after installing it I realized the app won't work at all(!) if you do not grant access to your location. I deleted it. In today's world where we can chat with and practice with everyone worldwide, an app like this should work without granting access to my location. If I want to connect with people in my area, it should be my choice and therefore be an optional setting. Sorry but thumbs down from me.

I couldn't figure out how to swipe on a profile, it only opened the same one over and over. It has a "chatbot" that it tries to force on users (I want to talk to actual people and this was beyond annoying). Also, the lag was terrible.
