I was a long time player with probably over a hundred hours spent over 5+ years. This was one of my favorite card games on the market. It was simple and easy to learn, the art was great, and deck building was unique. This was one of the few games that I spent money on sometimes. So why am I giving this 1 star? Because somehow a mass account wipe happened and my account got deleted. I'm not the only one in this review section saying this and support doesn't answer emails. This is unacceptable.

Igg has had a software problem that blocks people from accessing their accounts for over a month on this game. So if you spent time and thousands of dollars buying in game purchases like I have you can no longer access your account. They say "we are aware of the problem" but do nothing to fix it or give meaningful updates. So play this game at your own risk, suddenly you can lose access to your account.

I would really love to be able to give this game five stars. I've been playing it for a few years now (on a different platform, but the play is identical) and prefer it to other ccg games, but it is not the perfect game I want it to be. First off, while DH is technically free-to-play, the fact is that it's a huge money-sink, and the devs aren't particularly bashful about it. They want your money and they're rather in your face about it. If I didn't love the artwork and the depth so much I'd have told them to f.o. a long time ago. But yeah, the art is second to none, and the gameplay is deep, if frustrating at times due to your limited ability to control how your cards are played during battles. What makes the situation worse is the aforementioned cost factor, which limits your ability to develop strategies to cover any contingency. Maybe after ten years of slogging you will have all the cards you need to be a well-rounded competitor, but in the short-term you're likely to run up against a very solid brick wall...which is a shame, because like I said, there's a pretty darned good game hiding beneath this huge moneygrab. I will continue to play, since I've reached a point where I can compete in certain areas--not all--but for those with limited budgets who are just starting out, I'd advise proceeding with caution, or even not at all. But the artwork may suck you in like it did me, so beware :)
