About this app

AiR for android has been designed and developed in order to provide the public with an easier way to visualize the pollution around them and gain a clearer picture before the levels rise to a point that it negatively impacts lives but cannot be reversed anymore.
Air Pollution refers to the release of foreign particles into the atmosphere which is harmful to our health and the planet as a whole. This has been a subject of concern and intense study in recent years due to the deteriorating air quality.
A large number of programs have been put in place to check on the ever-rising pollution levels. Success of any nation in implementing such programs depends on the support of its subjects. Bringing awareness plays a major role in garnering this support. The current advances in AR Technology has allowed for greater ways of making the intangible objects like pollutants tangible.
AiR aims at spreading awareness in an interactive way about the different pollutants, their sources, and health impacts. It allows data to be easily understood by the public and inspire or aid further studies into preserving the beauty of our planet.
