About this app

Jorial is a travel journal for the moments you want to keep, not just the places you visited.

It works simply. Add an entry with a photo and Jorial does the paperwork for you: the location and that day's temperature fill in automatically when enabled. No forms, no filing, no admin. You live the trip; the diary keeps itself.

NEW: JOURNEYS, TOGETHER
- Write together, live. Invite the people you travel with into an entry and write it side by side, with every edit appearing as it happens.
- Group entries into a named Journey and see the whole thing as one story: the route, the places you stayed, the nights, the temperatures.
- Turn a Journey into a recap video, rendered on your own device and ready to share.
- See your travel in numbers: distance covered, countries reached, and how each year compares with the last.
- Log what you spend. Expenses on an entry roll up into the Journey overview.
- Print any entry like a magazine page, or save it as a PDF.

WRITE LIKE IT MATTERS
- Capture stories with writing, photos, dates, tags, and location details in a clean journal view made for stories, not status updates.
- Add the people you were with, a caption on a photo, and a star rating for the day.
- Jorial Pro raises photos from 2 to 30 per entry and adds video.

THE TEMPERATURE DETAIL
- Every entry keeps that day's temperature, both range and average. Seeing 3.5°C next to a photo puts you right back in that morning.
- You can also add temperatures manually, even to old or offline memories.

THREE WAYS BACK
- A quiet map: every entry is pinned by date, using photo location data when available, or manually pin the streets you found by accident.
- Journeys draw themselves with Pro: entries group into named, colour-coded routes on your map.
- Browse by date in the calendar, or scroll the journal feed and search tags, places, and repeating themes.

TOGETHER, PRIVATELY
- Keep your archive entirely private, or share specific Journeys with a partner or close friends.
- Partner Feed: one diary for two. Link with your partner and you both add to the same archive.
- Shared Stories: invite friends to write in the same Journey together.
- Shared pins: send a single place, with photo and note, straight to a friend's map.
- Add friends by email or QR code. There is no public network to join.

THE QUIET GAME
- Collect a stamp for every country you journal in, plus each of Sweden's 21 counties.
- 55 achievements gathered into 22 badges, tiered from Bronze to Diamond, with cinematic unlocks.
- No streaks, no sound, no reminders nagging you.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No ads, no trackers, no analytics SDKs. Your data runs the app, nothing else.
- Cloud sync across your devices, with an offline-friendly cache and background photo uploads.
- Take your journal with you: export the whole archive with Pro as readable text, a page you can browse offline, and every original photo and video.
- Delete your account, and its data, with one tap whenever you choose.

FREE AND PRO
- Free forever, not a trial: unlimited entries, 2 photos per entry, the full journal and calendar, and your last 12 months on the map.
- Jorial Pro adds 30 photos or videos per entry, your full map history, Journeys, recap videos, travel statistics, full export, and creating Shared Stories and the Partner Feed.
- If you ever cancel Pro, everything you made stays viewable. Nothing is held hostage.

ALSO
- Designed for phones and tablets, in light and dark themes.
- Available in 47 languages.
- Sign in with Google or Microsoft. No passwords to manage.

Jorial was built by a solo developer in Sweden, for his wife, who wanted every place they had been kept in one place. It is a diary first: for the two of you, or just for you.
A private travel diary that maps itself. Add a photo and the rest fills in.
