Bishop's Index, Bishop score, or Bishop's Scale, also known as cervical maturation scale is a scoring system used to predict whether induction or conduction of labor will be necessary. it has also been used to assess the probability of spontaneous preterm delivery.
The application was developed to facilitate the calculation of Bishop's index by obstetricians.
