DIGITAL LENDING - I&M BANK'S UNSECURED PERSONAL LOAN

The Unsecured personal loan is the unsecured instalment-based loan offered to existing I&M Bank customers that have been pre-scored/pre-approved to meet their short and medium term needs.
Unsecured loan features:
• Loan minimum limit amount KES 50,000
• Loan maximum limit amount KES 3,000,000.
• Processing fee Charged at 4% flat on the loan amount.
• Excise duty – 20% on the processing fee amount charged.
• Loan tenor Min 1 month – Max 60 months.
• Loan interest charged 14.8% pa.
• Credit life Insurance Fee 0.028% per month
Which customer is Eligible for a Personal Loan?
• A customer who has an active account with I&M Bank for a minimum period of six months will be eligible for a personal loan.
• An individual who is within the risk appetite threshold that has been set by the bank.
• Customer that has no non-performing loan facilities
• Customer that has passed all the eligibility business policy rules
The amount of one’s limit growth/reduction will depend on their savings and loan repayment behavior. Having a good loan repayment history, channeling your salary/Business proceeds will increase their chance of increased loan limit.
The customer’s loan instalment shall be recovered from operative/transactional account every due date.
The customer is at liberty to make early payments with no consequence to them in terms of penalties.
