For 25 years or so, IMDB has been THE definitive movie information database. But it is also by far the most frustratingly annoying app to use. Ever. It is carefully designed to always do what you did NOT want, and make you click on things you specifically wanted to AVOID clicking. IOW the spammiest app anyone is ever likely to use, with the exception of outright malware. Yet, we have no other choice, because IMDB IS the definite movie database. Monopoly is great for the monopolist.

"Inconceivable!" error message is pervasive. For over a month, the IMDb app is barely usable. Opening it usually fails with the Inconceivable message. Tapping on search or your profile will also face delays. It's by far the worst major app right now. I've never experienced anything like this from a major app. To not be able to just open the app is ridiculous. This is very confusing. How is it possible to ship an app that doesn't even reliably open?

This used to be my go-to app for just about everything that was movie and TV-related. But nowadays, I can't even open it without getting an "inconceivable!" error message. If by some miracle I do somehow make it in to search for something, the chances of it loading are slim, and the chances of me being able to see episodes or a celebrity's movie catalog are even slimmer! I have no idea what has happened, but for the love of the movie and TV gods, PLEASE update this nonsense so it works again!
