Ratings and reviews

Enshittification has arrived in force at Plex. I'm giving this revised review now because I just learned I CANNOT deselect Netflix as a streaming service in Plex, even though I don't currently have a Netflix subscription. Any other service can be deselected. Plex, stop listening to whoever's making these decisions -- they're out of control and wrong -- and start listening to your users.

I'm the beginning I could use the app even cast my shows, but now after I updated the app, whenever I choose a show to watch my screen goes black, and starts flashing to my lock screen all the more while I can clearly hear the show. The only way to get it to stop is by completely restarting my device. I don't think it's fair considering I actually paid for the app.

Doesn't matter what I play or which device I'm trying to play it on, it'll stop playing after about a minute and return me to the home screen. The web player works, the tv app works, the android app hasn't worked in years. According to the app reviews this seems to be a common bug, yet to be fixed. Fair to say I won't be paying fir any of this.
