The US version of imo didn’t work well for international communication. Many of my overseas contacts were missing, and calls frequently failed or disconnected. After installing the global version from “imo.im” using a non-US Play Store region, everything started working perfectly. Calls connect fast, chats are stable, and all contacts show up correctly now. Huge improvement overall.

while I can make stable phone calls using imo, I can never know when the app is working. Recent update has disabled the program. So, every time I open the program, it takes me to the "Update" page and I click on Update and without anything happening, the program starts working. Thus, I am not receiving any phone calls and keep getting Missed calls.

Imo use to be one of the best apps for communicating. It surpassed what's app, messenger. There were fewer dropped calls, sound quality was fantastic, video superb.What happened is beyond me. No more contacts, calls or video chats. I miss it tremendously, when it came to my friends in other countries. Hope whatever the problem is; it will soon be resolved..
