Use of the Accessibility API (AccessibilityService)
Impulse offers an optional feature called "Enhanced Protection" that uses Android's accessibility API (AccessibilityService). If you choose to enable it, Impulse uses it only to:
• Instantly detect which app or website is in the foreground, so your blocks and usage limits apply without delay.
• Read the address bar of supported browsers to block the websites you yourself added to your rules.
• Help you stick to your commitments by preventing Impulse from being uninstalled while one of your blocks is active (a protection you enable yourself and can turn off at any time).
Impulse does not use this service to collect, store, or share personal or sensitive data: everything is processed locally on your device. Enhanced Protection is fully optional, requires your explicit consent, and can be disabled at any time in Settings > Accessibility.

We also fixed the Continue button. When your limit is spent it now says "Limit reached" and closes the app, instead of quietly doing nothing. And a bug that could leave a limit screen stuck with an unresponsive button is gone for good.
