Paid for this version...watched a Japanese movie but there were no English subtitles anywhere on the settings... no downloads permitted and no watch list options...who designs this app rubbish? I will cancel my subscription.

Got it free with Tmobile Tuesdays. It works fine on my phone, but I was hard pressed to find anything in English. I'm not a huge fan of subtitles.
