About this app

The Supermarket App Pro lets you know if ingredients from a product in a Supermarket contains any unsafe ingredients.

Using your phone, the Supermarket App Pro enables you to scan labels and instantly get results on which ingredients are on the unsafe list. Unsafe means the ingredient is either banned, toxic, carcinogenic and generally unsafe for human consumption. These are mostly cheap, synthetic-chemicals and additives that manufacturers use to lower the cost of production at the expense of the consumer.

Important note: The Supermarket App Pro primarily scans for banned, toxic and unsafe ingredients.

Everyone says "It's all about money" and yes, everyone needs money to run such a site like this. It is a nonprofit app that allows for you to eat your food knowing it's ok. The one star reviews are just people who want to either not eat safe, or just simply are broke. Overall would recommend. I'm pretty sure it's only $5+ tax a year. It's not taking any significant damage against your bank, and that's not the cheap option, it's the only option to subscribe to.

No one has the time to sit and type every ingredient in with the lists of ingredients in things nowadays. If you want, you can pay for the scan option, but I don't have the money in my budget to be spending on things like this. You can type each ingredient into Google and find if it's safe or not.

Paid for the expansion when I first got the app. Now nothing scans and have to look up ingredients individually. Don't recommend if you are trying to check products quickly.
