Ratings and reviews

Love the app! Very convenient to use on the go and very handy with saving lessons and accessing word bank. The website is slightly better as you have access to the Languages dictionaries and access to more resources offered for learning characters such as Hangual or Hiragana. Still recommend grabbing the app when you want on the go access to the classes!

I like that they offer a 7day trial of premium and WITHOUT having to give a payment method first! The added cultural bits in the dialogue are awesome. I do wish that the "line-by-line" was available in the free version as it seems like it might not be? I guess I'll find out in 6 days lol. The subscription price is a bit high but so much work has gone into making this app and it's fair. I can't afford a subscription right now but if/when I'm able to, I'll sub here before paying for Duo again!

I really like their lessons I'm using to learn Norwegian. The app is easy to navigate, and all of the same tools/features are in the app as online. However, when using a lesson online, I like how the lesson text is always shown, and I can just continue scrolling down for the other items like vocabulary and notes. The app makes it easy to access these things by opening the lesson PDF, but it's just too small for me to comfortably read on my phone.
