As someone familiar but a now a bit forgetful with their French I can't say how this would feel for an absolute beginner but it's proving an effective refresher tool for the vocabulary. I'm really enjoying it too - the straightforward process with each frame/word and particularly being able to use my usual keyboard - so I'm cracking on quickly! The demo pronunciation is good and you can record yourself. Some more grammar point pop-ups would be welcome but the general tips about word usage have been useful.
This is the best application for language learning period. Just focus on building up the streaks of 100 cards a day and see the marvel. This is definitely possible. All it takes is 15 minutes a day. This is the first thing I do in the morning, which needless to say, give me a sense of accomplishment to tackle the rest of the day triumphantly.
I like it a lot. It would be great to have more sentences per each word as I feel like over time I'm remembering the particular sentence, not the word. An option to make the gap always the same size would also come in handy, so that it is not a hint in itself. All in all, this is one of the best apps for language learning and out of all the ones I use (and I use a lot), I spend the most time on this one.
This app is indeed very interesting; I like its approach and how it levels us, plus it shows us graphically speaking how far along are we, which is great. Also I like the tips and support texts that come along. And all for free. Yes, this an wonderful application to learn!
Different approach then many of the other apps. Also useful to step in if you're more than a beginner. I especially like the extra information on grammar and conjugation
A different approach to teaching. Been two days since I installed this app, n I can already read the phrases. Great!
