Pretty good app for offline reading. Even has folders for you to organize your articles. The downside is it does not allow you to manually sort your article order. It would be nice if there's the option to stop an article from syncing with the original page as sometimes the original is removed and the saved article also disappears. And it would be nice if it lets me save as many articles offline as I want instead of limiting it to 100 articles.
I like the highlight and note tools and the fact that I can put articles into folders. But this app has LOT to improve, I thought I could just use it instead of pocket but there are so many times where pages wont appear after saving them from the web, they're really gone! And I cant edit and add folders when offline and I cant even arrange it the way I want. Im so disapointed. But there are still good features that I like so I think I'll keep it for a while. Just please fix the problems and make some good improvement. Thanks for all your efforts though.
A number of bugs to resolve: (1) sometimes opening an article for the first time yields a blank screen; (2) text to speech does not handle html quotation marks (it reads "and Q U O T" aloud); (3) pagination view sometimes gets "stuck" such that you can't proceed to the next page; (4) sometimes articles are duplicated when shared from a browser
Advantages over Pocket : COMPLETELY FREE AND AD FREE! Speed reading, expected reading time, manage by folder, more fonts & customization options, full in text search for free, ad free website, acquired by Pinterest (which has always been good in developing their apps!). Cons : No amoled black mode.
Sync on Android version is very buggy, which defeats the whole point. Don’t have these problems with the iOS version.
It's a neat and simple tool for saving pages to read later. The ability to select words for Wiktionary lookup is handy, but I wish there was a facility to search Google or Bing for selected text from within the app.
Increased efficiency and reliability of syncing articles.
