Time is a teacher’s most valuable resource. Save time and use Canvas more efficiently from your mobile device with Canvas Teacher.

Canvas Teacher allows teachers to facilitate their courses on the go, both inside and outside the classroom. This app provides quick access to three of the most frequent course facilitation tasks for teachers:

• GRADING: Browse submissions and provide feedback to your students with a new and improved mobile SpeedGrader embedded in this app.
• COMMUNICATING: Send announcements and messages (including "Message Students Who..."), and participate in course discussions from the palm of your hand.
• UPDATING: Need to change a due date? Or publish an assignment? Or fix a misspelling? Canvas Teacher allows you to update your course content.

Latest update is glitch w messages. I have to reload multiple times, the notification pops up multiple times despite clearing it. Never realized how well it ran until now. I depend on messages heavily, and I miss at least 2 per day, and sometimes messages that are a direct response to one I just sent. Not okay. Fix this, canvas! Push an update!

Half of the features don't work. It also does not have the necessary capabilities got the browser version does. For example when you start writing a message or an announcement, there is no way to save a draft of what you're doing resulting in you wasting time if you need to go check an assignment or copy a link from something.

I really like using this app! It has been a great service to me, especially when traveling, whilst I was living overseas, and living an area where I don't have standard home internet. Two things I would like to see in a future update: 1) that the "Grade" tab in the grading view have the option for a rubric like the desktop version; 2) that the discussion posts from the grading view includes a word count like the posting side does (helpful for assignments with minimum word counts). Thank you!!
