About this app

1. The unique name of Bluetooth ensures the accurate connection and management of the corresponding lithium battery pack;
2. The user can query and manage the battery information immediately. The user can query each string of battery related status and replace or maintain the abnormal battery;
3. Set and read the battery protection parameters. The user sets the parameters and needs to enter the password to modify the parameters;
Monitor the battery fault alarm, show the current battery fault and the number of faults;

Ratings and reviews

It works pretty well overall. The overall approach is acceptable but the app needs UI improvement. Localization works but the translation from Chinese to the word "Determine", is a little clunky. A note on permissions - Android requires location services to find Bluetooth devices. Location services needs WiFi to approximate your location. Therefore, this app needs both Location services and WiFi to operate. Access to files (Images in this case) , is also required, but I'm not exactly sure why?

As of today (Jan 16 2023) the app will connect to the Bluetooth device but doesn't display any information. I've swapped out BT receivers and while the app sees them it does not display any information when connecting, I've plugged the BMS into my PC to verify it's still functioning, I have also charged and discharged the battery though the BMS with no change. Before this the app had improved a good amount from where it was when I started using, but is now completely broken.

Every update shows us a new and unique way for this app to crash. It crashes constantly. Sometimes it'll update and then start crashing in a way I've never seen before, and literally the only option is to wait for another update, which might fix that crash, but will probably just crash some other way. This app is the sole reason I am switching my battery's physical hardware BMS. Been struggling with this app for two years. I just can't take it any longer.
