Ratings and reviews

This app allows you to choose the frame rate, video codec, audio codec, resolution, and format. Most apps out there force you to convert to MP4. This app even allows you to add closed captions. This does what a "real" video converter/editor is supposed to do. I downloaded a video that wouldn't play on my Blu-ray player. I converted it with this app, tweaking the video and audio codec, and it played flawlessly!

Solid app. A lot of choices and options but you aren't required to set or change those. Just in case you wanted to compress further or reduce. Also when decreasing bitrate, or changing video quality the "normal" speed is still pretty fast unless you have an extremely large video. The faster you choose for completion the higher the size will be. Also lower quality. So if you want to compress, with changing bittrates, and reducing quality level to something like 720p, choose normal speed. 👍👍

The ads are super annoying including random videos that play out of nowhere. Also they use your notification tray to push advertisements which is tacky. They definitely don't respect your peace of mind. ***** Edit: They keep responding to my review but, apparently when I edit it in response, their response goes away. Each time it's full of marketing nonsense. They even used this space to plug premium which pretty well confirms the sentiment of what I said above.
