PainDA is a research platform for monitoring chronic pain sufferers.
PainDA was developed by researchers from the University of Haifa, who are interested in better understanding the mechanisms of chronic pain, which are sometimes also characterized by co-morbidity of mental conditions.
We seek new insights into chronic pain, by analyzing the daily life activities, physiology and perception of chronic pain sufferers, using a smart bracelet. This, at the same time as assessing the levels of depression and anxiety.
We plan to develop an indication of the risk of mental conditions before further worsening among chronic pain sufferers.
