About this app

CommuRide is a community-based ride sharing app that helps members of societies, residential communities, colleges, and workplaces coordinate shared rides with people they already know and trust.

HOW IT WORKS

Drivers post rides by mentioning origin, destination, departure date & time along with available seats. Riders can browse these rides and send a request to join. The driver reviews and accepts or declines requests. Same way riders can post their ride needs and drivers can find and invite them to their planned rides.

FEATURES

Ride Posting
Drivers can create a ride by setting the origin, destination, intermediate stops, departure time, available seats.

Ride Requests
Passengers can view rides posted within their community and request to book a seat. Drivers manage all incoming requests from the app.

Communities
Users join communities (societies) through an invitation or verification process. Rides are visible only to members of the same community, ensuring
a trusted environment.

In-App Chat
Drivers and passengers can communicate within the app before and during the ride.

Ride History
Users can view their past rides as a driver or passenger.

Ratings and Reviews
After a completed ride, users can rate and leave feedback for other participants to help build community trust.

Vehicle Management
Drivers can add and manage their vehicles and select the appropriate vehicle when posting a ride.

PERMISSIONS

Location: Used to display your position on the map and assist with setting pickup and drop-off points. Location is not tracked continuously or shared
with other users without your action.
