About this app

RouteEye Attendant is the on-bus companion for school transport staff. Every
student carries an NFC card; you tap it on the phone as they board or leave the
bus and the attendance is recorded instantly — no manual roll-call, no paper.

Built for real trips
- Big “Scan” button in the middle of the bottom bar — one thumb, one card, one
tap.
- Board and Drop are two clean tabs. Morning and Evening are two more.
- The screen tells you which student was boarded or dropped, the trip type, the
time, and the card UID, all in one glance.
- A cool-down keeps a card resting on the reader from being scanned twice by
accident.

Reliable, even when the signal drops
- Every scan is sent to the server the moment you tap the card.
- If the connection is flaky, the scan is queued locally and delivered as soon
as service comes back.
- Duplicate BOARD scans for the same trip are detected before the request even
leaves the phone.

Made for the whole team
- Attendants scan and see attendance history.
- Admins can link cards to students and unlink them.
- Superadmins can register new cards and bulk-upload cards from a CSV file.

Everything at a glance
- Dashboard shows today’s bus, route, roster size, and how many students are
boarded, absent or remaining.
- Attendance history lets you pick any date range and see present / absent
counts per day, plus every raw scan.
- Debug logs screen shows the last few hundred API + NFC events so you and
support can diagnose issues without a laptop.
