Ratings and reviews

It's fun but feels different compared to earlier titles. Just like with Vengeance there is the new tower system where you can switch out various towers before a stage. I'm not a big fan of that but to each their own. Ultimately feels greedier and released with less content compared to earlier titles. It is ok but lacks soul.

The best tower defense game out there, but they're becoming greedy. In USA, to unlock everything with the latest Halloween update, it will cost you $50. That's the cost of a real console game. Buy their Steam game instead, only $20, and no more paywall. Putting this as 2 stars due to this pay structure that they have implemented. Whoever came up with the $15 cost to unlock just 2 new heroes and 1 tower must be a millionaire.

Diehard fan of the original Kingdom Rush & Frontiers. I've been playing and replaying for years. However, franchise has gone significantly downhill. Hard to put your finger on it, but graphically the game has gotten "busy". There's way too many towers now, too much in game purchases. It's nowhere as fun as the original games. I don't recommend it. It would be nice if the developers created expansion packs for the original games or allowed level creation with enemies that you could share.
