Lost or broken projector remote? Turn your phone into one in seconds.
Projector Remote is a universal remote control for home cinema, office, classroom and portable projectors. It uses your phone's built-in infrared (IR) blaster to send the very same signals as the original remote, so it works offline — no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no pairing, no account.
Choose your brand, tap the remote that responds, and you are done.
★ 160+ BRANDS, 500+ REMOTES
A built-in IR code database covering projectors worldwide, including Epson, BenQ, Optoma, Acer, ViewSonic, InFocus, Panasonic, Canon, NEC, Hitachi, Sony, Sharp, Mitsubishi, Casio, Dell, Barco, Christie Digital, Boxlight, Eiki, Dukane, Sanyo, 3M and many more.
★ NO SETUP HEADACHES
Pick your brand and the app lists every remote it knows for it — Remote 1, Remote 2, Remote 3. Tap the red test button on each one until your projector reacts, then open it. One remote? It opens straight away.
★ MADE FOR PROJECTORS, NOT TVs
Input / Source switching and Freeze sit in the Quick panel, with Auto (auto-sync) and Home next to the arrow pad. A dedicated Picture panel gives you Keystone − / +, Focus − / +, Video, Brightness, Aspect and Blank — the keys you actually reach for when the image is crooked, soft or still showing the wrong laptop.
★ ZOOM AND VOLUME SIDE BY SIDE
A Zoom rocker for image size and a Volume rocker for built-in speakers, plus mute, menu, back and the full arrow pad for on-screen menus.
★ EVERY KEY YOUR MODEL HAS
3D, Lamp / Eco mode, HDMI 1 and 2, VGA, USB, Computer, Picture mode, Contrast, Aspect ratio, Reset and more appear in the Extras section. Keys your projector doesn't have are dimmed, so you never press something that does nothing.
★ SAVE YOUR REMOTES
Keep the meeting-room projector, the classroom projector and the one at home side by side on the home screen. Rename them and switch code sets any time if a key stops working.
IMPORTANT — DOES YOUR PHONE HAVE AN IR BLASTER?
This app needs a phone with built-in infrared hardware. Many Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Realme, Honor, Huawei, Samsung Galaxy (older models), TCL and Vivo phones have one; most recent iPhones and Pixels do not. The app tells you on the home screen if your phone has no IR blaster. It cannot control a projector over Wi-Fi or an app-based network link.
HOW TO USE
1. Open the app and pick your projector brand.
2. Point the top edge of your phone at the projector's IR sensor (usually front or top).
3. Tap the test button on each remote in the list until the projector responds.
4. Open that remote and save it. That's it.
TIPS
- Ceiling projectors often answer best if you aim at the screen and let the signal bounce.
- If some keys work and others don't, switch to another remote for the same brand with the CHANGE button.
PRIVACY
No account, no sign-up, no personal data collection. Your saved remotes stay on your phone. The app shows ads to stay free, and asks for your consent choices where the law requires it — you can change them any time from the Privacy button on the home screen.
DISCLAIMER
Projector Remote is an independent universal remote application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to any projector manufacturer. All company names, brand names, product names and trademarks mentioned in this listing or shown inside the app belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe which devices the infrared codes can control.
The app works only through the infrared (IR) blaster built into your phone. It cannot control a device over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or the internet, and it will not work on a phone without IR hardware. Manufacturers use different code sets across models, regions and production years, so a projector may answer only some keys, or none. Try the other remotes for your brand with CHANGE before leaving a review — that solves most cases.
Free, lightweight, and built to replace the remote you can never find.
