I have tried many ai tutoring apps, and this by far is my favorite. I know a fair amount of Spanish already but it is really helping hone in on and correct my common mistakes. The scenarios are great. My favorite feature is the Translation Option which gives random sentences in Spanish and English for translating to and from your target language. I took off one star because the voice recognition goes completely off the rails sometimes, and repeating multiple times is frustrating.

I tried to do the starting call, and it went weird. the female voice for the Mexican accent was a mix of gibberish in different languages and code. The male voice started with a comprehendible sentence but then it began the multi-lingual gibberish right after it asked me to speak. Not sure if this is a coding error or a glitch because of my phone and apps on it, but uninstalled without trying anything else.

It's a great concept, and I love being able to have a free form conversation in Spanish whenever I want. However, im finding the speech recognition to be extremely buggy. I often have to repeat myself and it leaves out words that I say or misunderstands me entirely. I'd use it way more if there were fewer issues. It's getting frustrating to deal with.
