Iterio uses Android's AccessibilityService API only for optional Focus Mode. During a timer, it processes the foreground app package name, screen changes, and window positions and sizes—including Picture-in-Picture—on device to detect blocked apps, return you to Iterio, and show a lock screen. It never reads screen text, inputs, passwords, or images. This information is not stored, sent, shared, or used for ads, analytics, or tracking. If you decline consent, the timer and study records still work. You can end the session and disable the service in Android Settings.
