IYALI – Safety, autonomy, and reproductive health at your fingertips

IYALI is a mobile application designed to protect, inform, and support women and young people facing gender-based violence and reproductive health challenges. It combines emergency safety tools, menstrual cycle tracking, and educational content to offer discreet, reliable, and accessible support.

🔐 ALERT AND SAFETY

In case of danger, IYALI allows you to quickly alert your trusted contacts and support centers.

• Discreet alert via triple press of the Power button, even when the screen is locked

• Send instant alerts to your trusted contacts
• Share your real-time location (15 min, 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, or 4 h)
• Direct call to support numbers (toll-free number 1155, 24/7)
• Secure PIN lock
• Emergency mode with view of available contacts

♿ USAGE OF THE ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE API

To enable emergency activation via a physical button combination,

including when the screen is locked or the application is running in the background, IYALI uses the Android AccessibilityService API.

This service is used exclusively to:

• Detect the physical button combination (triple press of Volume Up/Down, or Power + Volume Up depending on the model) that triggers the emergency alert

to your trusted contacts and the appropriate services.

This service does not perform any of the following uses:

• It does not read the content of your screen or other applications
• It does not capture your keystrokes or passwords
• It does not collect or transmit any personal data to third-party servers
• It does not bypass standard Android permissions

Activation is optional and the user must explicitly allow it

in system settings. You can disable it at any time from

Settings → Security → Accessibility Services → IYALI.
