About this app

Moogoose is a voice keyboard for accessible communication. It helps people who struggle with written communication compose clear replies using their voice.

Moogoose is designed for people who may find typing, reading, or organising written replies difficult, including people with motor disabilities, visual impairments, dyslexia, ADHD, cognitive or learning difficulties, and elderly users with reduced dexterity.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open a messaging app, email app, or another app with a text field
2. Switch to the Moogoose keyboard
3. Tap Moogoose and speak a rough instruction
4. Context Reader uses Android AccessibilityService to read the visible conversation or screen context
5. Moogoose creates a draft reply for you to review
6. You edit if needed and send it yourself

WHY ACCESSIBILITYSERVICE IS USED
Context Reader reads visible text so Moogoose can understand what you are replying to. It is required to complete full setup. If it is disabled, Moogoose cannot read the current screen. Dictate can still transcribe without it. Moogoose never sends messages automatically.

AI ACTIONS AND CREDITS
• Eligible accounts receive 20,000 one-time welcome credits (£2.00 of Moogoose app credit; not withdrawable as cash)
• Reopening, updating or reinstalling does not give another welcome grant while that Moogoose account exists
• Welcome, promotional and purchased credits power the same eligible AI features, including Quick Profile
• Successful actions use a variable number of credits based on the processing needed. Failed, safety-blocked or unusable actions, and cancellations before completion, do not use credits
• When you need more credits, optional 50,000-credit and 100,000-credit packs are available as one-time Google Play purchases. Google Play shows the local price before payment
• Account & Credits shows your balance and recent activity. Paid credits do not expire while your Moogoose account remains active. Credits cannot be transferred or withdrawn as cash
• Refunds or voids can remove unused purchased credits. If those credits were already used, paid AI use and new purchases can pause for review. Your statutory rights are unaffected

PRIVACY
• Recognised conversation history and your profile are stored on your phone. New installations use a six-month conversation inactivity limit. You can choose 90 or 30 days. Updates keep your saved limit
• When you use an AI feature, the information it needs passes through Moogoose's protected server to Google Gemini. Optional public-business research uses Perplexity Sonar with the details you approve
• Voice recordings are normally deleted after processing. A submitted Quick Profile recording can remain usable for recovery of the same request for up to 30 minutes
• Servers also hold account, credit, purchase, AI-report, operational and temporary encrypted recovery records. The Privacy Policy explains processing, retention and deletion
• Moogoose settings provides local data controls and a separate Delete Moogoose Account action
• No advertising or tracking SDKs. Android diagnostic files are not uploaded automatically
