Study Buddy helps you turn study material into something you can actually practice.

Capture notes with your camera, paste text, or import a PDF. Study Buddy extracts and organizes the text, then uses on-device Gemini Nano when available to generate concise summaries, flashcards, and multiple-choice quizzes. You can review saved study sets, search your library, tag material, save important sets, and keep track of due flashcards for review.

Flashcards include simple review tracking, so cards come back when they’re due. You can study summaries, flip through cards, take quizzes, regenerate parts of a study set, and share study material when you need to move it elsewhere.

Study Buddy Pro unlocks Tutor Mode, a Socratic math helper powered by Firebase Gemini. Instead of just giving the answer, Tutor Mode walks you through problems step by step with hints, “why?” explanations, and check-my-work guidance.

Study Buddy is now more powerful and flexible. Organize study sets into courses and folders, set exam dates and daily goals, edit every part of a study set, and review with Normal, Reverse, Cloze, or typed-recall modes. Export to Anki, PDF, CSV, Markdown, and JSON; use reminders, shortcuts, a home-screen widget, read-aloud cards, and a scratchpad. This update also improves phone and tablet layouts, accessibility, stability, and performance.
