update 2.26, the ThumbsUp strip isn't working properly. Many songs on the list play the wrong song. This is a top tier app. It's free, nearly any search pulls up something, and critically it's ad free. It's customizable in that you can Like songs, hearing them more often, and Dislike, removing them completely from the playlist. My only gripe are the featured artists, which almost universally suck as well as often having to sit through an announcement. I wish you could disable hearing any FAs.

We can only allow 500 banned songs at a time. If you reached that limit and ban more songs, older bans will be removed. Please contact android@jango.com for further help. It is in our interest to give our listeners as much control over their music as possible, while keeping the service free and without ads.

I can't give it enough stars. When I listen to obscure bands, jango mixes in other obscure bands that really pair well and help introduce me to bands ive never heard of. The other apps mix in mostly mainstream bands of a "similar" genre. I have found so many new bands because of jango. I have not found a skip limit but I don't have to skip because this rocks. There are no ads to speak of and it will play all night without having to start it again. I love this app.

I've used Jango both on Android and iOS for over 5 years. It really is the best truly free music app. Honestly, for me there is no reason to pay for apps when there is Jango. Unlimited skips and instead of commercials they just ask you to listen to and rate an indie artist. Which is a very cool feature because I have discovered new artists I like that way. This is truly one amazing app that has never let me down through the years.
