VeraCast is a weather app that tells you what the forecast means for your day, not just the numbers.
Every morning Vera writes a short briefing from the real forecast: what to wear, whether to bring an umbrella, when the UV peaks, how the evening will feel. The briefing is generated on your phone by an on-device AI model (Gemini Nano on supported devices, or a free downloadable model on others). No account, no cloud AI, and your location never leaves the app except to fetch the forecast.

What’s new
Fixed the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Today, 7 Day, Radar, Trips and Alerts now fill the whole display, edge to edge.
Fixed a bug where the app could open to a blank screen right after installing, and would only load properly after you closed it and opened it again.
When no location is available you now get a clear prompt to pick a city, with a retry that works, instead of a spinner that never finishes.
