Upgrades to Facer landed July 24th 2025 with full support for Wear OS 6!
On watches that launched with Wear OS 5 and have not received the update yet, our app shows a selection of faces that direct you to downloads on Google Play.
If you have Wear OS 3 or 4, our legacy Facer experience continues to work with our massive catalog! If your device updated to Wear OS 5, you should be able to continue using the same legacy Facer app.

Fantastic free faces - but there is a catch. I am a long time user of Facer, first on a Samsung 4 classic and now a Samsung 6. The app works great on my watch and interfaces well with the Samsung Gear app on my Android phone. The number of customized faces available is impressive - all categorized in the app for you to choose. The catch is that the faces do affect the watch's resources. If you can live with the watch dying after a day or an extended delay for tap-to-pay then go for it.

If you're going to make me choose three styles that I like, show different styles. If I've already skipped 20 different watch faces that look like old digital watches, what makes you think I'd like the 21st choice? It doesn't have as much customization as similar apps, or they really hide the options. The Help section is useless. The search just shows you what it wants, not what you search for. Don't fall for the subscription promo until you check the app. It isn't very good.

This app has the most beautiful watch faces... But that's the only positive thing I can say about them. They crash and your watch face disappears... and it's impossible to find it again on Facer. And not all of the features of the faces actually work! Plus... This isn't a one and done purchase. It's a subscription, so you have to pay every year for the privilege of using their mediocre service. There's way better out there. I discontinued my subscription.
