About this app

Relic is a personal journal for your museum visits, crafted as a collectible album of vintage ticket stubs. Every time you step out of a gallery, you can preserve the memory by recording the museum name, the date of your visit, the one exhibit that stayed with you, and an optional rating from one to five stars. The app lives entirely on your device, so your collection stays private and always available without needing an account or internet connection.
From the Home tab, you get an immediate sense of your cultural explorations. Engraved brass tokens display your total visits and how many trips you made this month, while the three most recent ticket stubs sit right below them in clear plastic sleeves. Tapping any stub opens its full details, where you can update the exhibit name, adjust your rating, or remove the entry entirely.
The Visits tab holds your complete archive, every museum trip presented as a beautifully detailed ticket with a perforated left edge, the museum name set in a bold railway‑station serif, a blue date stamp, and a warm gold foil star in the corner if you left a rating. A search bar at the top lets you instantly find a specific museum or favorite exhibit across your entire history. Adding a new visit is just as satisfying, using the dedicated tab that presents a simple form framed within the album aesthetic, with metallic punch‑style buttons to save or discard.
Your most cherished outings naturally rise to the top in the Favorites tab, which automatically collects every visit you rated four stars or higher. These highlights are displayed in the same vintage ticket style, turning your highest recommendations into a curated gallery of standout cultural moments. The entire interface avoids tick marks or checkboxes, instead relying on tactile details like lifted metal tab punches that cast a soft shadow when active, grounding the digital experience in the physical ritual of collecting.
Because everything is stored locally, you can browse your travel diary in a museum café, on a train, or anywhere without worrying about connectivity. Relic gives you a beautiful, focused space to reflect on the exhibitions that moved you, build a timeline of your cultural curiosity, and rediscover the small details of a rainy afternoon spent among paintings or sculpture.
