Corcho turns your device into a warm community bulletin board where anyone can post or find local volunteer shifts. The full‑screen cork backdrop with its wooden frame and faint pinholes makes every interaction feel reassuringly tactile, like pinning a real index card at the community center. Open shifts that still need helping hands appear as hand‑penciled cream cards on the Board tab, each showing the shift title, location, time, and the number of open slots. Tapping any card instantly signs you up for that shift with a subtle animation, no extra steps or confirmations needed. The Post tab gives you a clean, single‑screen form where you write a short name, venue, date and time, and how many volunteers are still needed, then tap the prominent Pin It button to add your request to the corkboard. Everything you commit to lives in the Mine tab, where you can review the shifts you have joined and remove yourself if your plans change. Completed shifts move to the History tab, where they appear in a faded, monochrome style with the date struck through, giving you a quiet record of your past contributions. At the top of the board, a dashboard holds embossed metal counters on luggage tags that display total open shifts, your upcoming commitments, and how many shifts you have finished this month, plus a handy Post New Shift quick action and a list of the most recently added opportunities. The app stores all your shifts and sign‑ups locally on your device, so you can browse, post, and update in real time even without a connection. There are no accounts to create and no cloud syncing to manage, just a simple, offline‑first tool that keeps your neighborhood service organized. A small pushpin color system helps you scan the board quickly: green for outdoor clean‑up work, blue for indoor administrative help, and yellow for food‑related projects like meal prep or sorting donations. Large touch targets and a tap‑only design make Corcho accessible for every age, from students lending a few weekend hours to seniors coordinating food bank rotas. By focusing on one screen, one corkboard, and one straightforward workflow, Corcho removes every barrier between you and the simple act of showing up for your community.
