When a band rehearses, everyone reads chords off their own phone — and every session runs into the same friction. "Which song are we playing?" "Where are we starting?" "I'm still on the first chorus." Someone shouts a page number across the room, three people are on the wrong version, and the guitarist just changed the key while nobody else did.

BandSync removes that. One person leads the session, and everyone else follows automatically.


HOW IT WORKS

1. Create a band and add your songs.
2. Start a session — a QR code appears.
3. The others scan it. No account needed to follow.
4. The leader picks a song, and it opens on every phone in the room.
5. The leader jumps to the second chorus, and the whole band goes with them.

That flow is the product. BandSync is deliberately not another feature-heavy songbook.


PASTE A CHORD SHEET, GET A CLEAN SONG

Song entry is the part that usually kills apps like this, so it is the part we spent the most time on. Copy any chord sheet off the web and paste it in. BandSync recognises chords sitting above lyrics as well as ChordPro tags, strips the formatting junk, and gives you a readable chart with proper sections — intro, verse, chorus, bridge. Paste a batch of songs at once and it splits them into separate entries.


EVERYONE READS IT THEIR OWN WAY

The band stays together, but each musician's screen is their own:

• Set your own font size
• Show or hide chords — singers can read lyrics only
• Transpose to any key, or set a capo
• Keep private notes on a song

BandSync syncs the position in the song rather than the pixels, so a phone and a 13-inch tablet stay at the same place in the same song while each renders it in its own layout.


BUILT FOR REAL REHEARSAL ROOMS

• Setlists — build a running order and work through it in sequence
• Autoscroll, with a speed you set per song
• Big section jumps for "let's take it from the second chorus"
• Works over a phone hotspot or cheap venue Wi-Fi, and reconnects on its own when a phone drops out or a screen locks
• Clear warnings when the leader goes offline, so nobody assumes a change reached the band

Followers never need an account. One person sets the band up; everyone else scans a code and plays.


YOUR SONGS ARE YOURS

BandSync is not a lyrics catalogue and ships with no songs. Everything in your band's library is content you put there.
