About this app

Chartbook is a chord chart and setlist app for musicians who actually gig.

Build the running order, then read from it on stage. Large type on black, hands-free page turns, and no network needed to read your charts, because venue Wi-Fi cannot be trusted.

BUY IT ONCE

No subscription. No weekly billing. Pay once and the app is yours, including future updates.

YOUR SONGS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE

There are no accounts, ads, trackers or analytics. Songs, sets, notes and PDF charts are stored locally. Chartbook does not need an internet connection and does not upload your music.

BRING YOUR OWN CHARTS

Import ChordPro files from OnSong, SongBook, Chordii or your own exports. You can also import PDF charts and read them in an inverted stage view, so a bright page does not blind you in a dark venue.

ON STAGE

• Very large, high-contrast type
• Autoscroll with adjustable speed
• Bluetooth keyboard and foot-pedal page turns
• Screen stays awake for the whole set
• One tap hides the controls
• Optional click track

CHORDS

• Transpose any text-based chart up or down
• Change capo position without rewriting the song
• Toggle Nashville number notation live
• Keep tempo, duration and notes with each song

SETS

• Build named sets from your library
• Put songs in performance order
• See the total running time before the gig
• Move through the whole set from one stage screen

Chartbook ships with no song catalogue. You bring charts that you own or have permission to use, exactly as you would with a paper folder.
Offline songbook and setlists for gigs. Lyrics, chords, transpose, autoscroll.

What’s new

Chartbook for Android is ready for the stage: build setlists, import ChordPro and PDF charts, transpose chords, use Nashville numbers, autoscroll, and turn pages with a Bluetooth pedal. Everything stays offline on your device.
