With this app, you can finally:

Because Google Maps does not provide a public API for external hardware controllers, this app uses an Android AccessibilityService to allow users to trigger specific Google Maps actions safely and intentionally.

How it works
The Joymap device sends commands via Bluetooth LE
When the user explicitly enables the Accessibility Service, the app detects those commands
Only while Google Maps is in the foreground, the service locates specific accessibility UI nodes (such as navigation and confirmation buttons) and performs the requested actions

Why AccessibilityService is required
The AccessibilityService is used exclusively to:
Interact with Google Maps UI elements that are otherwise inaccessible
Allow hands-free navigation control while riding, cycling, or driving

User control and privacy
The Accessibility Service is disabled by default
Users must provide explicit consent before enabling it
The service can be turned off at any time from Android Accessibility Settings

Joymap controller does NOT:
- Record audio or calls
- Read personal messages or sensitive data
- Modify system settings
- Bypass Android privacy or security protections
