Installed this just after arriving in Anchorage Alaska so we would have a chance of seeing the aurora without wasting the whole night. To my pleasant surprise its pretty accurate. It can't forecast the substorms which are the best part of a show but the green arch was visible most of the time when it forcasted the aurora to be visable.
Pretty accurate, it helped me track an exact spot to view the lights when they were out last night. The index was low and the lights were faint and it still helped me track them down.
Very good and really helped me find the best nights to view the the lights which were totally epic 2 nights running in Iceland
I like that it is location based. I just installed it after using another app that wasn't as detailed.
Looks pretty good. I'm in an area that is out of most chances to view but will be travelling to one soon. Will update review then but expect good results.
Haven't gotten full use yet since currently out of range of Aurora Borealis but it seems to work great so far.
- On the change location screen, you can now long press on the map to set the location rather than having to use the text search function.
